World Mental Health Day October 10th with Auntie
Auntie invites you to collaborate to advance mental wellbeing! The theme for World Mental Health Day 2024: "It's time to prioritise mental health at the workplace". Read more on the WMHD page.
Research shows that a third of working-age people are at risk of being burnout - are you successful in preventing it? For example, do people seek help from Auntie before the challenges build up? This is a good time to ensure help with a preventive low threshold mental wellbeing support so that as an employer you also save on eventual higher costs preventing the risks to materialise.
Watch our WMHD video below!
Your organisation and the employees too can participate in the World Mental Health Day and increase awareness for its theme. Share your experiences in your own social media channels or encourage the employees to send their comment to Auntie for us to publish. Encourage employees to sign up to Auntie!
Let's prioritise mental wellbeing at work together!
You have already taken a significant step into prioritising mental health at work by providing Auntie for your employees! Thank you for your trust and commitment in improving mental health.
As an organisation, you too can participate in World Mental Health Day and raise awareness of its theme "It's time to prioritise mental health in the workplace". Because mental health problems in society are constantly on the rise. Statistics extracted from the Finnish Association for Mental Health website:
-
According to an OECD report, mental health disorders cost Finland around eleven billion euros annually.
-
The OECD estimates that mental health and behavioural disorders account for more than half of all disability pensions.
-
At least one in five Finns will experience a mental disorder in their lifetime and one in five will suffer from depression.
Similar numbers apply to most other countries too.
Early support services such as Auntie are effective in reducing the costs of mental health problems. We have had astonishingly good results during the existence of Auntie, as evidenced by the feedback we have collected from Auntie users and our clients.
According to the Auntie annual end user survey:
-
84% say Auntien has prevented a burnout
-
48% say Auntien has reduced the amount of sick leave due to mental health reasons
-
87% say Auntien has made them feel better
-
62% say Auntie has helped them to be more motivated.
However:
-
59% feel that mental wellbeing is not a management priority in their organisation.
World Mental Health Day on October 10th provides an opportunity to share personal experiences of coping with mental wellbeing challenges, especially through Auntie, to challenge the stigma, discrimination and exclusion associated with mental health, and to highlight the importance of promoting mental health for all.
The simplest way is to remind your employees to take the Auntie packages for psychological discussion support, self-development and support for leaders.
Take up the challenge!
Share the Auntie Mental Health Day video with your employees, as well as our WMHD brochure with your Auntie sign-up page url together with the Auntie WMHD page for employees, which also contains the video! Encourage your employees to take an Auntie package!
Share your own comments, stories and experiences related to the World Mental Health Day theme in your social media channels.
Share your own or Auntie's material on your social media channels before, on or after October 10th! Tell us how you prioritise mental health. Encourage your employees to share their own experiences with Auntie and how they have prioritised their own mental wellbeing.
