World Mental Health Day 10 October

How is your mental capacity doing right now?

World Mental Health Day is on 10 October. We wanted to make it more than just one day, so we built the whole of October around it.

What is mental capacity?

It describes how much you have to draw on in everyday life: energy, the ability to focus and room for your emotions. It varies for everyone, and you can strengthen it just like any other skill.

Energy and recovery

Energy is what fuels your mental capacity. When your recovery works, you have more to give both at work and in your free time.

Focus and clarity

When your mind can focus on one thing at a time, you have more capacity left for what matters to you.

Emotions and mood

Emotions are part of every day. When you recognise them, they take less of your energy and leave room for other things too.
